Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering "Civil ".

- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience.

- Competent user of AutoCAD & Primavera.

- Experienced in the successful delivery of Grade A construction projects.

- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.

- Innovative and self-directed

- Ability to work and perform under pressure.

- Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other team members.

- Organized, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

-Day-to-day management of the site including labor force, plant and the work of any subcontractors.

-Assist the Construction Manager in the execution of daily works.

-Survey the site and ensure the site has been levelled properly according to the project drawings.

-Monitor job progress and ensure that civil contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions.

-Ensure all structural work is carried out within established budgets and schedules.

-Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.

-Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.

-Keep accurate records, including a diary, of all site activities.

-Implement and oversee site projects assigned to ensure smooth project execution.

-Manage internal and external contractors well to ensure quality of work and scope of work is within specifications.

-Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out.

-Assist in planning, schedule and technical support to project manager.

-Supervise and manage all subcontractors on site, and direct labors.

-Any other duties as and when required to meet the needs of the business.

-Perform any additional related tasks as assigned.
